The Four Noble Truths (苦·集·灭·道)
Sadness is the Echo of love.
A quiet string, perturbed by
a young clumsy finger
The inquisitive mind hops into the Future
The timid one drowns in their own tears, (O’ how delicious!)
The eloquent demands SILENCE!
All this to entertain a crowd that’s minding no one’s business
Voices leaving space, leaving shores behind
Ripples ripple, and dusts settle
Leaving darkness to sweeping all:
chatters, screeches, and sighs
And a moon, stationery, up in the high sky,
gushes about how all this time: sadness is just Love
